Jonathan Tsao, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB
Principal, San Francisco
Jonathan Tsao is the founder of TSAO Design Group and managing principal of the firm’s San Francisco office. Influenced by the design work of Robert A. M. Stern, Charles Gwathmey and Romaldo Guirgola, Jonathan brings a distinct design signature to the work of the firm, which encompasses corporate, institutional and commercial buildings and their interiors. An active member of the American Institute of Architects, Jonathan is a registered architect in California and Florida, holds certification by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and serves as a member of the boards for the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation and San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Mary Wang, AIA, LEED AP
Principal, San Francisco
Mary’s achievements and meteoric rise at TSAO San Francisco bear testimony to her extraordinary abilities as a leader, talented designer, effective communicator and outstanding advocate for the interests of her clients.
Her work for Hult International Business School and Plastic Surgery Medical Office at 77 Van Ness have won numerous design awards including Best of Year under the educational category by the Interior Design Magazine and publications in Office Insight, The Registry and XAL Magazine.
From staffing, scheduling, construction documentation and consultant coordination through agency review and construction administration, Mary’s affable nature and superior skills facilitate project success and client satisfaction throughout all phases of her projects.

Jason Hagopian, AIA, LEED AP
Principal, Miami
Jason Hagopian is a principal of TSAO Design Group and established the firm’s Miami office. Award winning designer with over 25 years of experience, registered architect and LEED Accredited Professional, Jason has extensive experience in public, corporate, retail, institutional and residential projects throughout the United States, Canada, and South America. Jason’s leadership extends beyond his executive responsibilities as managing Principal and includes active participation in the planning, design and production of projects. Under his direction, the firm was named a Top Minority Business in South Florida for three consecutive years by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. Jason’s many philanthropic contributions include supporting organizations such as Voices for Children Foundation, Inc., Miami Children’s Initiative and Miami Design Preservation League.
Janie Coka, IIDA, LEED AP
Principal, Miami
Janie’s experience as an Interior Designer encompasses a broad range of retail, workplace, hospitality and residential projects. She provides design leadership to the TSAO Miami office and is known for her expertise in Retail Design. Her achievements and rise at TSAO Miami bear testimony to her passion and drive.
As a Principal at TSAO Design Group, she manages staffing, scheduling and all phases of design, from conception to completion. Experienced Project Manager, licensed Interior Designer and LEED Accredited Professional, Janie brings a keen eye for detail and infectious positive attitude to every project.
