The Freed Residence

← back to project index

The Freed Residence is a 4,000 sq ft renovation that was dictated by the new Florida Hurricane codes. The project scope included upgrading the entire exterior of the home and renovating key interior spaces. The main interior space to be renovated was an existing glass atrium. The design team redesigned the space with a floating stair to the 2nd floor that included a new flat roof and color changing LED lighting. The atrium creates a connection to the exterior and allows passage from the back of the house to the front of the house.
