SenSpa

Located in the Presidio in San Francisco, Senspa, a day spa, offers treatments based on the Power of Three Paths: Release, Restore and Revitalize. Housed in an existing 1919 hospital warehouse, the organic warmth of the aged wood frame structure serves as a springboard for an Asian-inspired atmosphere which is expressed through colors, forms and spatial relationships.
Following the Presidio’s historic preservation mandate, the new design was respectful of and reliant on existing building elements.
